Please plan accordingly of the date and time your daylilies arrive to make sure they are not left out in the weather, they are in a box. After arrival you may want to give them a drink of fresh water prior to planting. I set my newly arrived daylilies in a bowl of water for about 4-6 hours prior to planting. You may have your own routine, this is just a suggestion. :)

How do I plant my Daylilies?
Our daylilies are dug fresh, washed, dried, wrapped in paper, tagged and shipped. Upon arrival, please remember your daylilies have had a bit of a stressful trip in a box. Only a suggestion, you may have your own method after receiving daylilies that’s worked well for you, but you may wish to set the bare roots in water after receiving them for 24 hours prior to planting at their new home. This gives them a bit of replenishment, only a suggestion. We understand folks have their own methods that work well for them and the regions they live in. Happy Planting!
